ORP

Oxidation-Reduction Potential (ORP), also referred to as Redox Potential, is a key parameter in liquid analysis and process instrumentation. It measures a solution's ability to undergo oxidation (loss of electrons) or reduction (gain of electrons) reactions. ORP is widely used to control and monitor chemical reactions and ensure process efficiency, particularly in the water treatment, chemical, and pharmaceutical industries.

Applications Include:

  • Monitoring wastewater inlet streams to optimise treatment processes and maintain compliance
  • Assessing swimming pool water quality to ensure effective disinfection and safe recreational use

Approvals Include:

  • ATEX certification for safe use in hazardous environments
  • MCERTS certification to guarantee accuracy in environmental monitoring applications
