Ultrasonic Level Sensors
Ultrasonic level sensors utilise the Time-of-Flight principle to measure the distance to a product surface within a tank. An electromechanical pulse is transmitted from the transducer at the speed of sound. This pulse reflects off the product surface, and the time taken for the round trip is divided by two to calculate the distance to the surface accurately.
