Conductive Level Switches
Conductive level switches operate by detecting the presence or absence of a conductive liquid within a process. These switches consist of coated metal rods or electrodes that, when in contact with a conductive liquid, complete an electrical circuit. The conductivity of the liquid triggers a signal, indicating the level change. This technology is commonly used for simple, reliable level detection in liquids such as water, acids, and other conductive solutions. The metal rods are typically coated to prevent corrosion and ensure long-term durability in harsh environments.
