Earlier this year, our partners at Siemens announced the phase-out of the SITRANS MAG5000 and MAG6000 flow transmitters. The process began in June and will conclude towards the end of this year.

The Replacement

The successor to these models is the SITRANS FMT020 flow transmitter, developed to mirror the proven functionality of the MAG5000 and MAG6000 while introducing a range of advanced features designed for today’s process demands.

The FMT020 is fully backwards compatible with the established MAG 5100W and MAG 3100 sensor families, and conversion kits are available to make retrofitting straightforward.
